ok first off don't knock me for making this.

combat skills
vengence 20
all pre req. 1

offence auras
20 conviction
all pre req 1

defence aura
resist cold 15
resist fire 15
resist lightning 15
salvation rest

equipment

merc
act 3cold
equipment
weapon hoj
shield dream
armor bramble or dragon
helm dream

a beast bkwb and soj on me but what other equipment should i use. also any comments and suggestions are welcome

This almost looks like a vengence with dreamer equipment? If you're going in melee you might want to look for some melee gear to help keep you alive. Also IIRC vengence's damage is based on your weapons max damage, and that the +damage from a grief doesn't work with that skill. If you try and search a little, I think you can find some info here on vengence, if not try google and you will find it for sure.

I'm pretty sure there are some vengence guides out there as well. So just read that and some auradin guides and try to figure out what you can combine from each without breaking the character.

thanks i mainly used beast for the aura but i might try some different things. would deadly strike or crushing blow work with vengence? oh and should i also would the merc set up work?

I'm not sure on the deadly strike, but I think that comes into play after the vengeance skill, which means you're only increasing your chance of dealing more physical damage. Might be good for leaching, but will also get you killed faster by Iron Maiden.

As for the merc... well yea I guess it would work, but the reason auradins/dreamers can get the damage they do is because of synergies. Eventhough the auras come from items, the synergies for those auras still work. Which is why a PvP dreamer for instance has such high lightning resists.

oh so if i wore the dreamer equipment it would work well because of the points i put in resists.

Yup. But then on the other hand you won't be that well equiped for melee, and may not be able to use vengeance so well. But I'm sure someone has tried it sometime, and if so you will find it on google

i figured it out
get a might merc put infinity on him and as many+ skill stuff as possible
this will free up 20 points put those in holy freeze and make that my main aura. then instead of salvation put those points in the resists. then i would were dreamer equipment.
just one question would the extra damage from the holy auras add to my vengence like they would with a normal attack?
