No CD-Patch?

hi, i tried downloading the 1.12 patch or somthing to play Diablo 2 LOD without a CD. but when i try to install the patch it says that i cant install it because i got a newer patch already. Help?

maybe you logged on to bnet? it'll automatically patch.
