The new patch

Well, obviously ladder reset is coming up soon. Just out of curiosity (not looking for definitives, just what you guys think MIGHT happen), what do you guys think will come out of this new patch? Do you think they'll ever fix that bug rushing "glitch"? New runewords?

Honestly, I hope they DO fix the glitch. Getting to high levels super fast is too easy.
Its unfair to the people who aren't lucky enough to have friends who will do this, or just can't find a glitch rush.

Not to mention someone can create a character a week or two from the reset, and get a rush like this. When someone can do that, its like a slap in the face for the ones who started at the beginning and actually had to work their way up the ladder.

Are you kidding me? Most of the time early in ladder I went along with random groups as we went for bosses...pretty much a rush, if you ask me.

The only glitch in being rushed is when it involves getting an under level 25 to NM and Hell. As far as leveling super fast....might as well blame the people that are level 90 three days after the reset.

On East when no one was on to level I used to just go to 40 and be the person that they needed to get a person from norm to hell.....free rushes for me so why not?

Even without the "glitch" people will still level fast...so you aren't going to win a huge victory by getting rid of it.

People getting rushed a week or two before the reset usually aren't in it for the ladder...unlike some of the people leveling from the start. Those dedicated to the ladder usually are pretty hardcore about it.

Anyway....there's a bunch of things I'd like fixed or messed with, but I highly doubt it'll happen. Instead of worrying about what I want....I'm going to focus more on what we'll potentially get.

I understand where you're coming from Omni, and I have no problem with rushing. Its the Glitch Rushing I don't like. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree? Anyways its no big deal to me whether they fix it or not, because I play SP far more than MP. :P

I don't think they should fix the glitch rush. The game is so old now that having a way to lvl fast doesn't ruin the game imo. And to punish those players who have friends that can help them, just because others doesn't is wrong imo. Especially those who paid for 2 or more CD keys to self glitch rush chars. The solution is fairly easy, and is one solved by individuals. Instead of rushing your own chars or have friends rush you, and on the way user others to glitch, you should help others. When you are glitch rushing, if someone helps you bug normal or nm, offer to rush that person through the next difficulty. I sometimes ended up in a private 8p rush when I was originally just trying to glitch rush a friend.

Some things that would be a great addition would be increased stash (which has been mentinoed) and higher resolutions! In terms of how much of the map you can see that is. Would be sweet to play D2 on a bigger monitor without it being stretched. As it is now I have to play in window mode, which can get annoying when doing PvP.

In PvM it could be useful, in PvP however. Although easily negated, it's very annoying when someone uses aura glitch.

Abusing an unintended glitch is stupid let alone one that annoys the crap out of pvp rooms.

Sufficient sorb (not even BM amounts) and ample stacked res should be enough to negate or even get an advantage from their auras.

I mean hell...my barb would get healed from my rival's auras and it's not like he was stacked with wisps. Just a Tgods and crazy stacking.

I mean the thing they do where they reset the trade 30 or so times. Yeah, I've put on tgods + 2 wisps on along with a blackhorns and a hotspur but I still get 3-4 shotted. All they do is charge around you and desynch till you die.

And why should I have to put on sorb gear and chase ones butt just because some *** decides to annoy people??
