Default My Summoning Necro Build (Help Plz)

Hello, I'm new here. I got this summoning Necro at lvl 50 at the moment. I'm not hella versed in summoning necs, but I've been doing ok thus far. I'm just not sure where to go from my current point.

*Also note that this is a MFer char when you look at gear/suggest gear. Though it is not my belief that all gear must be MF so suggest what you think is best.

Skills: (If not listed then there no points in that skill) (marked with * I dont actually use and was for pre)

Raise Skeleton - 20
Skeleton Mastery - 20
Skeleton Mage - 1*
Clay Golem - 1*
Blood Golem - 1
Iron Golem - 1*
Golem Mastery - 1
Summon Resist - 1
Revive - 1

Teeth - 1*
Corpse Explosion - 1

Amplify Damage - 1
Weaken - 1*
Iron Maiden - 1
Terror - 1*
Decrepify - 1

I'm not sure where to go with my skill points next? I'm thinking either Summon Resist or Corpse Explosion. I'm not so sure Summon Resist really needs to be maxed, but I'm not sure. And Corpse Explosion I can see how it can be really effective especially when maxed so it has much more radius, can really help take out groups of monsters. Though maybe there a different way yall would suggest? I'm not really interested in Skeleton Mages because from what I've heard, sure they are good in norm, but just not that great for hell cuz dont do much damage (not cuz of immunes, use lower res curse on immunes to take immunity away, they still be hella resisted though). Nah going with pure physical damaged with these summons with amplify dam curse plus revives (at moment I can have 5 cuz of items +skills) . I dunno if I maybe wanna get more Revives though or not? I've been told a lot it only needs 1 point..... and well I kinda see the reasoning behind that from lil bit ive been using revives. (they get stuck a lot and when u run too far from them they dont tele like ur skeles or merc they just vanish)

Anyways let me know what ya think? Should I go with CE max? Revives? And how much in Summon Res? Or some thing else or another idea yall got for me?

Well here is my gear at the moment

Gull Dagger (+100MF)
Tarnhelm (71MF with PTopaz, +1all skill)
Trang Helm & Gloves (+2 summons from armor +2 curses from Gloves)
Graverobber Ammy (+1 Summons, it crap that overall but meh all i got for him at the moment)
Rings - +5MF ring that sucks, and Nagelring +17MF
Bladebuckle Belt (low lvl belt that is ok. Looking for a Goldwrap though.)

So yeah one reason behind this build for me is that it isnt really gear dependent like a lot others, so I don't plan on spending a bunch of time trying to get specific items. Just get what I can when I come across whatever and take whatever free if some one happens to offer me some thing. Though I am interested in knowing what kind of gear would yall suggest for a Summoning MFer Necro?

Definitely start pumping Corpse Explosion next. Then, after you get that maxed, or at what you feel is a high enough level, throw few points (I wouldn't go more than like.. 5, probably less than that) into summon resist. And you should be set, really. Then.. probably throw any extra points after that into mages.

Revives do fine at level 1. As you start getting +skills gear, you'll have plenty of them. Too many is just ridiculous.

Yeah looking at the skill tree and the type of build this is seems like ill eventually dump points into Skeleton Mage mainly due to eventually wont be much else to put into. Though I been thinking about maybe bone spear or bone spirit to initially help build army and help them out generally... or maybe ill just continue to play the runaway puss necro lol. (i die fast and easy)

Anyways yup started pumping up CE.

Like DA said, you're on the right track to a decent necro. After maxing skeles, mastery and CE (as well as a point into the curses you want to use) you're pretty golden. I went with mages to avoid the immunity problem as small as it is.

Immunity issue? You are aware that Amplify Damage curse takes away immunity to physical damage right? Seems like not though, but it does, so basically nothing is immune to this build.

I haven't done much lvling but I got myself a Homunculus and a Shako to use, but the Shako is ethereal, but I believe I can keep it in good condition with this build because my summons basically do all the work as I stand back. It's like the shield I was using before, it was ethereal but all the time I used it didn't go down in durability because I don't put myself in harms way.

Anyways I may trade the Shako if I can get some thing for it, but I'll probably end up using it. I have faith I can take care of it.

You'll come across a few immunities Amp wont be able to break. So, the mages are for those occasions. It doesn't happen often... but it can happen.

i think you should put some point into mage skes because they protect you from being hit. Much friend, less posibility to die.

Then you should of course max, or put a lot of point to Courpse Exp.

Btw, use clay golem because golems dont have a ability of killing they are just tanking, protecting you let's say. Clay golems have more life so use it.

You already found a shako but etheral, that is really to bad. Still it worths using it until you find a not etheral one.

For the armor try to find skullders ire, it is perfect for mfing.

Put PTopaz in both shako and ire.

Don't use gull, i know it has a lot of MF but if you have too much mf your killing would be slow. So killing faster with normal MF is better. If you could find one, use Arm of King Leoric it is perfect for summoners.

Homunculus is your best friend socket an Um in it. but Um is quite expensive, if you are not rich, probably you are not that rich, put an Perceft Diamond in to it. It gives you a good resist.

A magic amulet with +3 to summon works for you, don't use MF ammy's it is pointless.

This will be probably your end up gear. As far as i remember none of the equip's i mentioned rLvl is hihger than 50, just shako needs 62.

Btw, if you want pm me with your mail and i can send you two MF ring, and maybe some other usefull items(if i have any, need to look first)

PS: I did not mention Gloves and Boots because i think rare gloves and boots could be perfect for Summoners, at least better than uniques. So i do not want to name it.
