HAHA I'm praying for late 2010, but I have a feeling I'm going to be waiting to 2011

It sucks. I'm thinking 2011 at the earliest and probably 2012.

Are any other games like this? I mean where you know it's in development for years and that it still has years till it's out? I've known about games 3-6 months ahead of time, but this is pretty sick.

try torchlight it seemed like the biggest inspiration for D3, makes it look like a copy, in a way that none of us wants to accept

Blizz says it's projected out in years... 2012 is the earliest I think... maybe 2013 but with WoW being the golden pot it's hard to say how much they put into DIII...

i made a stop at my local GameStop this Thursday and the guy there told me D3 was coming out which we all already know however i asked if he knew the exact release date yet, he then proceeded to check on the computer on their database and told me that the release date for Diablo 3 is December 31, 2010 xD! and since most stores are gonna be closed that date the release is technically January 2011 xD! i cant wait!!!! best news I've heard this year! so excited

Blizzard hasn't released a statement about the release date of D3.

Any and all stores or sites that have a date are LYING.

The date is a placemarker date, It's what put in their system to allow for preorders for a product, 2011 seems the most likely for it to release.

Having it in the system for preorders is ok, but actually advertising the release date just to get people to preorder is wrong, when it's so far from release.
