The Assassins are an ancient order originally founded by the Vizjerei to hunt down and eliminate rogue mages within their own ranks. Employing secret disciplines to combat and resist the magical abilities of their elusive quarry, the Assassin's bag of tricks includes traps and other infernal devices, martial arts, and powerful mental abilities. Common people know nothing of the Assassins, but they are widely feared and respected by all who employ the magic arts.

You Will be a WirlWind assassin, meaning you will have the skill of a Barbarian.

What kind of damage do you do with this setup?

There are a few things you need to do here. Well more then a few.

First off, say what kind of skillers to put into inventory.

Discuss, or even mention, what kind of sc's to put in your inventory.

Tactics on how to fight different chars.

What, if anything, to equip on switch.

BP for fcr, ias, fhr.

What are the goals of this build.

There are more, but there is a start for you.

all that fcr on your gear and no mention of what it's used for..

no strategy guides on gameplay..

this is just another gear recommendation for a build.

Thats not the point. Anybody can search through guides on different sites and just write down gear and skill choices. If you want to actually make a guide that's worth a damn put in your own information. Just listing gear, skills and how to prebuff, not that hard.

i'm not saying you're wrong on this one.. but adding one more to that equation doesn't help either.

do your research. refer to guides that are of a similar build. make any improvements that you can find. and put in your personal strategy/tips on how to play the build more effectively. that's a guide =)

Just because it hasn't been done yet, doesn't mean you should. Unless you can add your own thoughts to a build, your just trying to up your post count.

lol why would i wont to do that???
little point in personalizing a build because they infact will be the same so i say no point in adding my thoughts when people will think what they want despite what i may think or say

This is becoming redundant. To make a functional guide you need to be insightful. What are the advantages of this guide. What are the disadvantages. What kind of char is easy, which is hard. You didn't even touch BP's.

I can keep going, but it will amount to nothing.

That would be great, if FCR applied to dragon flight.

Bramble sins are weak, and the guide is written awfully. Isn't much more that needs to be said.

And your point is what?

Most builds on this site are garbage, yours included.

As said by others, this is nothing but gear and skill recommendations.

Edit:

That would be great, if FCR applied to dragon flight.

Bramble sins are weak, and the guide is written awfully. Isn't much more that needs to be said.

This basically sums it up, if i had seen this earlier, i wouldn't have posted.

A lot of improvements could be made here.
1. With diminishing returns and +skills 20 pts in claw block is not needed.
2. 1 point in fade is much too little. With +skills fade can give a huge boost to not only resistances but %dr, opening gear slots for other items.
3. MB should be mentioned. It is very useful and necessary imo.
4. When mentioning the chaos claw you should note what type of claw is the best to make it in and what the ias bps are for each type of claw.
5. State specifically what type of charms are the best, which skillers one should get, etc.
6. Expand your mostly non-existent tactics section. Should one have different gear depending on what opponent one is facing? (ie. resis stack vs foher/blizz sorcs/auradins, ar setup for vs. high defense zealots, barbs, and smiters, etc)
7. Definitely discuss what ias/fhr/fcr bps are ideal and how to hit each one.
8. Don't forget to mention having cta/spirit on switch for bo, and possibly what any prebuff gear might be.
9. Is this a PvP guide or PvM? You seem to mention both, but don't ever give any specifics (ie. "~shadow master~This guy tank hits and draws monsters away from you" and then later "HoW To UsE HeR In DuelS" where the shadow distracting monsters has absolutely nothing to do with pvp.
10. You say to use Gore Riders over Shadow Dancers. Provide some reasons as to why.
11. You say "the Assassin's bag of tricks includes traps and other infernal devices" but then say nothing about traps in the skills placement or strategy.
12. Might want to clean up the guide a little bit by formatting things cleaner and spelling things correctly (ie. Whirlwind).
13. You're missing discussion of skills such as CoS and Blade Shield.
14. List some possible ar/life/phys dmg/venom dmg goals for those of us with our own WWsins who wish to compare ours with what your guide proposes.

ok thank you and i would think that people would know the kinda of duh.. stuff.
If they did, they wouldn't need a guide, now would they?
little point in personalizing a build because they infact will be the same so i say no point in adding my thoughts when people will think what they want despite what i may think or say
If you don't have anything new to add to the build or any personal insights, strategy, or gear ideas, then you're practically just copying a build list from someone, which anyone can do. Heck, following that way of thinking I could write a Hld PvP Zealot "Guide" (even though I've never made one in my life and therefore have nothing to contribute on the subject, looking up gear possibilities and posting a gear list is something anyone can do).

Stop taking offense. We're trying to give you constructive criticism so that you can improve your guide. If you refuse to make any improvements because of your pride, then you shouldn't be making a guide in the first place. One of the first things to expect when you post a guide is to hear from people who both like and dislike your "guide", discuss possible improvements, and then make changes. That is the purpose of an online community.

That should be enough for you to work on for now.

P.S. Lmk if you're on WNL. My PvP kicker should be finished within a week, and I'd love to see how she fares with a chaos claw vs your wwsin.
