Anyone ever tried going full gris with pala?
Now, I know you're going to say "lol good combinations of uniques+runewords kick sets ***". Now you are correct, but I was just wodnering about it...That, and I like the aura(:
Anyway, what type of pala goes well with this? Hammerdin is offf the table I guess since there's no FCR bonus...
Also, what do you think is good to socket it with?

If you're wearing a full Gris set, you can make a fairly decent FoHer.

FoH is (i think) the best you can make with full griz if you use loads if facets :)

I've heard you can make an OK charger if you load 0s with dam/ias jewels,
but don't really know. I've never found the scepter

Was thinking you could make an Uber smiter as well, with the right use of Bers, Ums and Shaels..

Yeah, I've also heard of the Full Gris FoH'er... And I think there were a build or a thread about it on this site before the reset-thing! I didn't read it, but I'll also say that RBF's is the best way to use all those sockets! And I think that set is really cool because of all those sockets! So many options!

I've heard of a full griz Zealer, for ubers...

Don't think I've seen a full griz smiter though.

The most common is Foh, as everyone else has said.

I made an interesting Griz based build last ladder. The build was called the Abbott. It was a Defensive based Avenger with tons of damage reduce items. The Caddy was socketted for speed and ED. The Helm and Armor were socketted with Sol runes and the shield had two PDiamonds and a single Sol rune. Other DR gear was added so that the Abbott (named Judas_Priest BTW) could literally stand amongst a group of Gloams and smile. He could stand there until his armor broke. He regenerated life faster than damage took it. He was a slow killer but great fun to play.

gris set is so versatile..

put in fire/cold/light facets for a holy fire/freeze/shock zealot or foh-er.

put in min/max damage for an avenger or normal fanatic zealot

put in sols for an abbott..

i socketed mine with high minimum damage jewels, for a min damage build =)

Anyway, thought of a gris smiter-
4x ber the weapon, 2xum the helm, 3xhel/um/P.ruby the armor, 3xeld/Um/P.Diamond the shield.
Along with Dracs, Gores and Blood Crafted Belt with Open Wound

You'll get huge resist (with is already base 0 even in hell), enought IAS for bp with Fanat and enough CB and OW (and life tap from Dracs, ofc).
This is super expensive, but still reasonable, especially since all the dupes out there.

Anyway, someone has a link for a guide to that FOHer?
