Trapsin Help

Hey guys, so i just made a new trapsin for the first time. I'm trying them out seeing if i like them. Couple questions.
1. Gear? Everything from Boots to Helm.
2. Stats? Do i spec into energy or what?
3. Is Lightning Sentry still the dominating trap?
4. Are Trapsins good PvE?

ANy other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
