The most interesting part was the final sentence ending the entry:

"The darkness is coming, my friends: mark my words."

Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but blizzon 09 is coming in August. Atleast we can hope for another character announcement, or maybe even both? It's not too far fetch'd to think that all 5 characters would be done before the rest of the game.

I thought pics were going around for a good while now. ._.;;

But I dunno if they plan on releasing all 5 classes by the end of this year. Considering how long it's going to take...you'd think they'd drag that out as much as they can.

It would be pretty bad *** to finally see the rest of the characters...i personally am hoping for a zon-like character...

They should have some sort ranged attacker like a zon or a ranger type character for physical damage. taurean im coming to get u in blocky again but i just can seem to break 14k on bunch time trial.

They really can't give up the Amazon. I hope they call it either a Ranger, Amazon male or female, or maybe a Stalker, or something like that!

Well the only clue we still have about the next character is it will be "loved".

I'm hoping it's a zon-like character.....and no pally.

Well - i'll take whatever comes and examinate it to the bone - then decide if i like it or not.. so i hope blizzard cooks up something good ^^

How about something like a ritualist, alà the ritualist in guild wars? That summons spirits and enhances the weapons of allies? A support-caster? We didn't have that much in D2, only thing was the sorceress skill enchant as far as i recon.

They didn't want any sort of "roles" among the classes....that's why there's no dedicated healing spells and that either.

d3 will not have any characters specifically for one roll, so anything like priest or something that ONLY supports other chars is pretty much out of the question.

Something tells me no. Since they said the barb is the only recurring class.

Oh yeah....and D3 won't have any characters doing just one specific thing. They want it so each person does a bit of hacking and slashing instead of having one sit back and help the team....they want everyone in on the action.
