magic arrow ama?

I was just looking through the amazon skills and I saw that magic arrow from lvl 13 onwards costs no mana and no arrows!!!
It gives an ok attack rating bonus and it also converts x% of damage to magic damage as well starting from 1% going up to 20%
should i create a magic arrow bowazon???

plz reply to this and gives me some ideas

No. Its an ok back up spell when you run into physical immune or run out of arrows, but it has no crowd capabilities. That and the damage on it's isn't all that great. I personaly wouldn't invest too heavily in it. just the one point and let your gear take care of the rest.

Yea what ^ said. It is not a main skill at all. Using that skill would just turn your zon into an act 1 merc.

kk thx how about a fire arrow zon (fire arrow,exploding arrow and immolation arrow)
I already have a lvl 27 one of these should i scrap them and go for a cold tree bowazon???

if you want to go fire, it's probably better to go exploding arrow + fire arrow for synergy. immo has potentially better damage, but it's severely crippled by the timer. anw, exploding arrow has that splash damage as well, so it's sort of an area attack..

as for cold tree bow skills, it's generally better than the fire counterpart. freezing arrow is a great and safe area attack. just make sure you don't put any additional points in ice arrow =)

oh and how much would a crafted archon plate with +1 to fire skills 40%fcr,23%enhanced defence be worth??

well, you're only level 27, that means you haven't invested points in immo arrow yet. so, why not go mageazon, ie go both freezing arrow and exploding arrow..

or put points in strafe and penetrate to become a strafer with fire back-up. it's really too early for your zon build to be ruined actually.

as to that crafted archon plate.. it doesn't exist. =)

sry i do have an archon plate of +1 fire skills but not crafted ty for pointing it out

there's no archon plate with that mod in d2.
unless you upgrade a que-hegan's wisdom mage plate, which will give +1 to all skills instead of fire skills..

no it's a yellow rare item you know believe me there is unless i picked up some random bugged item

Then you must have picked up a bugged item because there's no such thing as a +1 fire skills on armors especially not rares. Since there is no + any skill prefix that can spawn on armors. Can you post a s/s of the armor?
