Running game without CD in drive???

Hi which files do i copy to the game directory to get it to run without the darn cd in the drive?

In order to run w/o the cd, u need a full install of D2. Log onto bnet to update the lastest patch and thats it. CD free.

iirc, if you do a full install, patching to 1.12a works fine.. if not, read the readme or update log from the patch files. it'l inform which files needed to be copied from the discs.

yeah i patched it but it still wouldnt work. i copied .mpq files from the LOD disk and now it works without CD.

copy the D2xMusic.mpq and D2xVideo.mpq from the cd and paste in the main diablo folder. Should work then.
