is there any way to get a merc with doom to enouph - resist to destroy cold immuens?

The only way you can remove immunities is via Lower Resist or Conviction, items with -% resists, and cold mastery will not.

However, most cold immunes resists will be stacked so high above 100% resists (Immunity), that the immunity cannot be broken.

the -resists from doom will not break immunity. in fact, all those -resists from gear will not break immunities. they only work after the immunity is broken.

only 2 types of -resists can break immunities. those are from conviction aura and lower resist curse. even still, against an immune, they'll work at 20% efficiency.
