opinions on getting items

hey guys i just wanted to know if you guys think it is better to mf for items or take hell forges with my hammerdin.these are the problems i run into.with my hammer people end up leaving after act3 or they hit the forge once then go back to town and act like theyre not there.the problem with mfing is i can basically only kill hell andy and its faster to cata 4 but i dont usaully get that good of drops.so i think i need to commit to one and see where it takes me.any opinions would help thanks.

1: Wrong section.

2: Mfing. The monsters may be greedy but D2 players are far more greedy. Not only that but you can't expect to get much from forges anyway. With mfing you're guaranteed to have the drops to your self (so long as you're doing solo, of course).

The ultimate method i can think of, which worked wonders for me this ladder reset, is making an orb\es sorc (See rappel's guide)

I got very lucky and found a good skin of the vipermagi from, believe it or not, Fangskin, which was my first good unique this ladder. After that i took many hell mephruns, and even though it is hard in the beginning, you do find stuff fairly fast.....

Just do your leveling properly first... it is not a race, because those who want to top the ladder, use bots.....

i have a level 86 orb/es sorc.and there and many cold immunes in the durance of hate so i have trouble with meph and every time i die im basically done so i just wanted to see if there would be any better alternatives to this thanks.

If you have good points in cold mastery, and a merc with infinity (if you're lucky) you should have no problem with cold immunes. Or... You could just tele past all the bad guys. Traditionally when you are running bosses w/ a sorc you don't run to them, you tele to them. With any class that's what you want to do, that's why enigma is so coveted. Tele speeds up the process exponentially.

yeah i mean i know how to do that but when there are mana burn chars they kill me in like 2 hits, so that gets really annoying but thats the reason why i decided to make a fire sorc.because i beilieve that fire does most damage to andy and is not too bad against meph, and thats really the only two i will be mfing.also i may be mfing countess and she is immune to cold so this is something i could not do with the orb sorc.
