I downloaded Hero Editor a while back, and before I could use it I had to either download and install some patch, OR I got my Diablo 2 game Battle Net ready. I can't remember, and the internet connection to my new computer isn't working yet. I copied all of the files for my old characters and put them into the Diablo 2 directory for saved games. Unfortunately, the game on my new computer doesn't recognize any of these files because they were edited by Hero Editor. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I spent years building up all of those characters, and I do not want to start all over. Thanks.
