K, I've never made a libby before, why don't either of those guides have points in fanaticism..

Cause this isn't a hammerdin, its a charger with hammers. XD

1. fanaticism is not a synergy to either charge nor blessed hammer.

2. concentration is the only aura that increases the damage of blessed hammer*. and it can also offset the lack of a maxed synergy for charge, when used as its main aura.

3. the increase attack speed of fanaticism won't benefit charge.

4. you won't have many points to spend on this build. 1 point not put in fanaticism is a point saved =)

Concentration isn't a synergy for Blessed Hammer.

Concentration isn't a synergy for Blessed Hammer.

yeah. my mistake.
well, it's the only aura that boosts hammer damage. so that's pretty worthwhile.. =)

You also wont have alot of ar. Fanaticism Boosts that greatly when its on, aswell as greatly increases melee dmg... sounds like a great aura for charging to me...

20 points in charge gives 335% ar. imo that's quite decent.
20 points in fana provides only an additional 135% ar and 28%ed as compared to using concentration as main aura. this is a pretty big trade off. why?

by choosing fana over conc, you'll lose a lot of magical damage from your hammers. do note physical resistance is common, whereas not many use magical resistance gear.

you can have a higher chance to hit with charge, but as mentioned, you'll lose the higher hammer damage, which isn't dependent on any ar.

conclusion: there are more cons to using fanaticism than than its benefits. ie, you're basically giving up blessed hammer as an alternative attack. =)

Great explanation thanks bro.

Now what if i want to throw smite in there... i know a couple guys who use smite on their hdins and its gg.

then should i max fanat instead of charge and just 1 point charge and smite?

As for weapons... Is an Eth Death Zerk the way to go? Or Ebotdz? Or Griefz? Iso opinions.
