1 = 2 Mana
If you can stand the sight of your druid wearing a wolf fur, and if you love to see how he kills everything, this build is for you.
ATTRIBUTES:
Strenght: 165
Dexterity: 205
Vitality: 135
Energy: 20
The starts aren't THE way to go, it is simply what I found that my druid had at level 88. You are free to relocate points as you wish.
- You might not have to boost the DEX up that high, but you need to hit. Every time. And no, dont waste any points in energy, as stealing it back is easy.
ITEMS:
Weapons: any high damage weapon with as fast an attck speed as you can get. Ethereal Tombreaver, with a zod abviously, did the trick for me.
Armor: As far as I see it, there can only be one choice. Fortitude. It gives resistances, a small bonus to life, good defence, and the chance to cast chilling armor - will boost your defence a lot, not to mention the damage bonus. I like this armor.
Boots: What you feel like, or what you can get. I went with Gore Rider. They work.
Gloves: What ever you need to steal the life/mana you need. Or not, I'm using Laying off Hands, moslty because I haven't found a better alternative, but the 20% IAS isn't bad.
Belt: Nosferatu Coil, or String of ears. Life steal is good, yes. I'm using Nosferatu Coil, but there are probable better alternatives.
Rings: what ever you need for life or mana steal. I'm usin a Catan's Seal, dont laugh, please. And a random Rare ring with 8% life steal, 11 all res, and some other cool stuff.
Amulet: any one with skills would do you good, just take the best one you have avilable. I'm using Seraph's Hymn.
Helmet: Jalal's Mane with Um, did the trick for me. This is also the reason why I don't need mana steal from any items.
SKILLS:
Shape Shifting:
Warewolf: 20, warewolf is good, yes.
Lychantrpohy: 20, gives you more life, and a longer duration, also good.
Feral Rage: 1, both a pre requisite, and a 1 point wonder.
Rabies: 1, it sucks, just a prerequisite.
Fury: 20. You main attack. Works, and looks cool.
Summoning:
Oak Sage: 1. **** the party, it's just a prerequitite. You'll live.
Heart of Wolverine: 20. Uhh, start the killing.
You'll have plenty of skill points left, so use them anyway you like, not just elemental though, you cant cast thoes while in wolf form anyway. Some Summoning skills, like some wolf, or the Grizzly Bear works.
Charms:
Get an anni, and a Druid torch. You'll love them. Back it up with what ever you need in resistances, then pile up of damage, or life. Or both.
Mercenary:
The act 2 mercenary with might aura, he is your friend. I equipped mine with a Tome Reaver as well, and a eth Fortitude. He is currently using Crown of Thieves as a helmet.
Conclusion:
If you did what I did, you'll be around 11k max damage, after your mercs aura, and the spirit has been added, you'll be at 14k. Doesn't sound like much, but you'll hit very fast.
If your party decide that they don't ike you because you only have a lvl 9 oak sage, then **** em all. They live because you tank and kill everything.
Note:
Also, my cahracter isn't perfect. For some reason I have way to high DEX, I think I was going to use some other weapon, but Tombreaver is just awesome. If you want tombreaver, only the dex you need to hit 95%, and add more into strenght and vit. Also, my Tombreaver still have 2 socket slots for cool damage jewels, so it can go up even higher. And my catans seal ring is a joke, a different ring, like a bulkhatos will give slightly less life steal, but 1 extra skill.
What I did, though not perfect, will basically kill everything, and he has 75, resist, and a 80% lightning resist, on hell. It's true that my hitpoint buffer could be higher, but I only ever die if I get Ironmaidened, and that would kill someone with twice the vitality anyway.
