21k Blizzard Damage?

Okay so I am recently working on a Ladder Pvp/Mfing Blizzard Sorceress...
well I was on www.D2skills.com working on a skill planner.
Well my Pvp Gear selection got me to 21k Blizzard Damage....(20675.8658 max damage blizzard exactly)...here's what I have...

Perfect, +20% Cold Damage Nightwings, +2 to All Skills (Facet'd)
Perfect, +20% Cold Damage Ormus' Robes, +3 to Blizzard (Facet'd)
Perfect, +20% Cold Damage 4 Facet Monarch (Facet'd, obvious give away)
Not Perfect, +30% Cold Damage Fathom, +3 to All Skills (Facet'd)
Cold Amulet, +3 to Cold Skills (sorceress only)
Stone of Jordan Ring, +1 to All Skills (x2)
Arachnids Mesh, +1 to All Skills
Annihilus SC, +1 to All Skills
Hellfire Torch, +3 to Sorceress Skills
+1 to Cold Spells GC (x9)

Blizzard is at level 47, giving you 9204 Blizzard Damage without the enhanced cold damage. With, I got to 20675.8656 (which rounds up to 21k)

Is this possible or did I just waste my time? :confused: Please comment, this is needed information! Thanks!

(also, not very much FCR because it isn't needed with blizzard [and if it is, please inform me so I can hopefully find a good balance with FCR and damage, and to also help anyone and myself make this mistake/mistake again] , although it would help with teleport during dueling, it still isn't 100% necesarry to me)

I think around 14k-16k in a common "high" amount.

Don't hold it to me but I'm pretty sure it's something of the such. Your equipment should need to be rethought as you lack not only FCR but FHR, resistances and so on.

Yes I know, I was just going for damage atm, I figured FCR and Resistance would be a problem....completely forgot about FHR, thank you for reminding me! ;)

hmm, from your gear, your blizz dmg should be 9204 x 1.9 = ~17k+

hmm. pvp and mfing sorc? where is the mf on that char, and the inven space too pick up things? :p

still though, i wish i could get close to 10k dmg on my mf sorc. atm i deal something along the lines of 4k :o

Blizzer is a crappy PvP so I wouldn't bother, but have a blast. you lack seriously FHR, FCR for tele and resist, unless you go ES sorc.

For sheer damage, Snowclash beats Arachnid Mesh, since it adds +2 to Blizzard rather than just 1 to All Skills. And with that, I've done my calculations, and the damage I have is 17989,2 damage... quite far from your 21k.

Also, a 20% damage shield is not the best all-around option. A Facet'd Lidless Wall offers +1 skill, +5% damage, FCR and Mana, and you still have a damage of 17031. With a Spirit shield, you end up with 16993,2 damage, which is not bad at all considering all the other mods Spirit offers.

Even with my MF Blizzard Sorc, that with some minor gear adjustment did 9k damage, 1hit was often enough to kill most opponents. 2 hits against highly stacked resistance, and 3 hits was the maximum, unless they used excessive absorb on top of highly stacked resistance.

Not 9204 x .2=[number here]+9204=11965.2 x .2 and so on

@N V, that is Pvp Gear, I think I stated that above...my magic finding gear would be pretty much usual,...

most likely skullders+ist or Ptopaz, Shako Ist or Ptopaz, Occy Ist, 4ist Monarch or Ist Lidless or Spirit (i like looking at uniques instead of runewords...they've pretty much taken over pvp and sometimes even mf, which makes me hurt inside...:() Goldwrap(hopefully up'd), Rare MF+Skills amulet, x2 perf mf nagels, war travs, chancies...standardized mf gear...for the sorceress.

@Dargad, I totally forgot about Snowclash!!! Wow, I don't what would be best though....but your right, I was looking for damage and completely overlooked snowclash, which is best belt for a blizzard sorc....well thats my opinion, if you dont need fcr and other stuff....

That can be said with any build though, not just Blizz sorcs.

Not many people will play a Blizz sorc without Auto Aim though....

how did you come up with that?

your total damage should be (only max dmg)..

9204(lvl47 blizz) x [1 + 0.9(total "+%cold skill dmg" from gear and facets)]

= 9204 x 1.9 = 17k+ cold damage...
