GF barb question

I thought about making GF barb in the near future, and I was thinking:
Ive read that for the 2nd switch you should use bo sticks. But I thought you can wear 2 Heart Carvers (+4 find item) thus making you put only 8 points into find item (above 16 is really useless) or 5 if you have a torch.
I thought about it because I would really like to help my merc a bit with some battle cry rather than just leap and leap.

So my question is- do you think it will be effective for NM runs? Does the +bo from the sticks really make a difference?

bo sticks are +3 war cries weapons. if you have a point in find item, it will be boosted as well, albeit not as much as heart carvers.

If you do it that way, you lose the gf/mf bonus that you have from either duel baba's or duel 6 lem'd weps. It's not just the find item, the the gf/mf bonus that you have also. And i've tried both leap and war cry. Both have their uses. But for nm runs, neither will be a concern. By lvl 75 both you and your merc can eaisly tank any damage nm trav can through your way.

And personally i prefer war cry over leap. With the war cry stun, they will just stand there and take the hits, while with leap, there pushed back and your merc has to go to them.
