I hated Juno. Heck, even as a chick flick it wasn't very good. The ultra sarcasm got very old after about 5 minutes.

300: The most definitely "man's movie" since Braveheart. Tons of incredible fighting.

http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/8296/162808221cfe7nj9.jpg
American History X: Follows the story of a neo nazi turned (what's the word...?)....sane? When he breaks the news to his neo nazi friends, it does not go well. This movie is where Gears of War got the curb stomp kill from. (Ps.... Edward Norton is a friggin TANK in this movie)

http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/6810/behindenemylines222ad18uv7.jpg
Behind Enemy Lines: While on a routine air patrol, Owen Wilson's plane gets shot down by terrorists and he lands behind enemy lines. He must survive until his friendly forces can pick him up.

http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/3127/stopstealingmyphotos22ftr5.jpg
Boondock Saints: Two religious brothers accidentally kill a person, and then go on a killing spree to wipe out the most evil people in the city.

Curse the four picture rule!

Braveheart: Tells the epic story of William Wallace as he fights for his country and does the impossible.

Cast Away: Tom Hanks gets stranded on a deserted island and must survive until he somehow can find help.

Enemy At The Gates: Tells the story of an expert sniper as he must do his part to make a difference in the war, all while avoiding the enemy's expert sniper.

Fight Club: No description needed. Go see this movie or I will hunt you down. This is probably my favorite movie ever.

Full Metal Jacket: Tells the story of soldiers going through an extremely intense bootcamp (they get called every insult you can think of) and then they're sent into Vietnam for some intense warfare.

Gladiator: Tells the story of how a would-be king gets betrayed and must work his way back up from slavery.

Goodfellas: An expert mafia movie, telling the tale of a young boy who grows into a ruthless killer.

Jason Bourne Trilogy: Jason Bourne is a super soldier who can't remember who he is. Using all of his skills, he must avoid the government's hitmen and survive long enough to figure out his identity.

Matrix: What if everything you knew was a computer program? What if you could master that program and then become the most deadly person in the world?

Memento: A man must find the clues to his wife's murder. The only problem is he has no short-term memory, since he got rammed in the head during his wife's murder.

Pitch Black: A group of people must survive on a planet during a long period of darkness, in which deadly creatures emerge from the ground. To make things worse, a cannibal serial killer is their primary source of protection.

Pulp Fiction: An amazing classic movie telling all sorts of stories in one movie. Extremely funny and extremely intelligent at the same time, this movie must be seen.

Requiem For A Dream: Tells the story of a heroine addict's journey through life, as well as his mom's slope into insanity because of diet pills.

Reservoir Dogs: Tells the story of an ambush on a group of mafia men, from each person's perspective.

Running Scared: Tells the story of a man who must hunt down a gun that has been stolen from him and is now being traded around the city. The problem is that gun was used to kill multiple cops, and the man must find the gun before his mafia boss discovers the incident.

Saving Private Ryan: Tells the story of soldiers during WWII on a mission to secure Private Ryan who has a ticket home due to the deaths of most of his family.

Scarface: Tells the story of a man who comes from Mexico and becomes quite possibly the greatest Coke lord in the world.

Tears Of The Sun: Tells the story of special ops soldiers in a third-world country trying to protect the inhabitants.

The Departed: Tells the story of a policeman pretending to be a mafia member, as well as a mafia member pretending to be a policeman; and their mission to find out who the other person is.

and...... losing interest. No more explanations. Use the internet.

Yojimbo directed by Akira Kurosava

The 7 Samurays also by him - one of the best movies I have ever seen.

The Thing still rocks.

Dumping his drink into the computer is the only thing I hate about the movie, heh.

I have seen both versions of The Thing. Both the Black and white version, and the remake of it.

I like both to be honest, although The Thing (remake) is a bit more scary (although I do not get scared easily, but the film has that element to it), and it leaves you in suspense a lot of the time you are watching it.

When I was watching it, I wasn't sure who might have been The Thing. But the movie was definately good and entertaining to watch.

Carpenter hit the remake solid and the movie still stands for something from 82.

I just don't get why the remake of the Fog was so weak and Ghost of Mars was weird. I'm not blind but I do like the snow setting of The Thing. Really cool place for a horror movie, no where land.

Yeah exactly. No where to go for him, so they are all stuck in one place, perfect for a Horror setting like you said.

Another movie remake I like is Night of the Living Dead in 1990. However that is not as good as the black and white one, or so many people say.

Ironically I am watching The Thing now. No snow yet this winter but at least I can enjoy it from the movie.

Living Dead movies always had a place in my heart, since I saw the first one living across from a cemetery.

Hit some crazy buttons, lost screen. Had to edit big time, lol.

Yep, I was a bit disappointed in the remake of The Fog. The original was excellent, but the remake was just "okay". I've never seen the original The Thing, but I do like the remake very much.

I recommend that people see The Curse of the Jade Scorpion. It is a Woody Allen movie and it is very funny and entertaining. "Constantinople!"

Yeah, the original movie had substance. The remake felt too artificial, no touch, no feel and no flavor. I'm talking about The Fog and the original felt like a 1980's movie.

Edit

By the way, the original Thing is super old. If you were to watch an older horror movie I would recommend Rosemary's Baby. It's from 1968 and that's old enough. If you can appreciate that the film is from 1968 it might hold your interest.

My bad, don't bother with the movie because it's too old. It would have been a better book, heh.

I recommend everyone to NOT watch the Americanized Dragonball movie.

It should come with a surgeon general's warning.
