I will be a freezadin (using holy freeze)

Is there any gear that has a "conviction aura when equipped", - cold resist,

or any runewords that give conviction?

because...it will really help my freezadin with the - resists

doom/ice grants holy freeze + "-enemy cold resists"

infinity is only for polearms :(


or should i use a polearm just for the conviction aura to help my holy freeze?

a socketed shield with 4 pdiamonds is a great budget option.

as for runewords to help your holy freeze, try a "doom" axe, or "voice of reason" phaseblade..

btw, as for uniques, try getting a heaven's light. it's has great mods for a holy aura zealot. +skills, cb, -target def, 2 sockets, decent physical dmg etc =)

one question....does the auras combine in number for "doom"

so...if i have a maxes holy freeze, and have doom runeword equipped,

my holy freeze lvl is 32, right?

I never knew conviction worked with cold spells,I always thought it helped with Light/Fire spells,might of just been me who thought that anyways,and as for your question,What kind of gear are you going to put on your pally,asides from that doom,doesn't seem like your holy freeze gonna be oh-so good.

no, it will not stack. the higher level will prevail.

conviction lowers fire/cold/lightning resistance on enemies. however, lvl12 conviction (as in infinity) will almost never break a cold immune.

Use a Doom to be granted the Holy Freeze aura, and use conviction on your right skill tab. I have a paladin who uses this setup, and he preforms well =)

If you use alot of charms/items that gives you cold damage, then yes, it will work. I only use my char as a fun char tough.
