Cain is really just tagging along to take your items. you know, when you find those unique rings and all, you go to cain and id it, then he switch out your soj/bk for nagel. every once in a while he will let you keep it though so he dont cause too much suspicion:D

Hey, Kiba, tyreal is pretty cool actually. They made him look super cool especially in the A2 movie where he fight Diablo. And he's helping man kind, so that gives him some extra credit.

when i went to buy somethin from the guy next to the lady that repairs ur armor in act 2 he said "wtf do u want" but there was no black box i just heard it over my speaker

my favs are: ormus and drognan - because i love the way they speak, alkor - because he's eccentric (and likes necros), larzuk - because i'm shallow and love his chests and muscles, ok he's cool, no? :P socketing ftw! nihlatak would be ok (because he likes you-know-which-class) but he's lame in other way.

i just can't stand gheed! he doesn't like guess-who. shoo! go home!

My Favorite is Qual-Kehk in act 5. If you go in with a Druid he mumbles and grumbles that he doesn't trust our shapeshifting kind. Certainly changes his tune after you free the soldiers though.:D
Another is the Town Guard in front of the Palace in act 2. After he lets you pass, if you click him again he has the audacity to say "Stay out of Trouble!". Why if only he was on the outside of town, I'd show him some trouble. LOL :eek:

Cain once he's rescued. He's the only one who does anything useful (IDing items for free).

I get the urge to smack that angel everytime he whines about me taking a bit long to rescue him.

If you have gone through Act 2 and over to Act 3, then go back to Act 2 again, ppl will have a "new saying", like they will greet you with som 1-time new welcome .. (poor explaining but still)

He says: "What the hell do you want ... Ooh it`s you" or something like that :p

Hmm can`t say i really dislike some character, but they could`ve changed Charsi`s name to something else.. And hearing Cain say "Stay awhile and listen" every time you need some items id`ed, doesn`t make the game better .. it is bothering

Its not a NPC, but what the Necro says after you complete the Countess quest cracks me up every time! :D

oh, and good point Kalenjder, sentences after quests should also be considered. I think the Necro says after the Claw Viper quest "pitty, I was starting to like the darkness". Or something like that..

I've always thought Blizzard could make Hadriel more useful, or at least more active, as they did with Flavie. I mean he doesn't lift a finger if you're chased by angry pack of beasts in River of Flame. He is just large neon sign for "5 seals for dummies".

If we can include our own character's quotes, I'd say the Assassin is my favorite. Just to name a few:

Burial Grounds: Hmmm. Whose handiwork lies buried here?
Countess death: So much treasure, it almost covers the stench.
Sewers (Act3): Ehh, and I thought the Forgotten Tower stank! (this one is in the files, but isn't heard in game)
Nihlathak's Temple: Heh, I should've known.

She has that enjoyable "smartass" attitude, although I also like the Druid's finality:

Blood Moor: So it begins.
Nihlathak Temple: You can run, but you can't hide.

if the NPC can use it it's obviously in the game :p
