Hi guys,
I have a question here, I've been researching smite paladin articles for quite a few weeks now. I really cannot understand how smite damages can reach up to damages higher that 2000. I tried to create a smite paladin with maxed out holy shield, fanaticism and smite. The only highest damage I have reached is only 788 to 895 smite damage.
Here are my stats:
I'm a level 80 paladin
I have 200 strength and 220 dexterity
I'm using a Superior Royal Shield with a smite damage of 24 to 32. (Without using holy shield)
My weapon is a rare "imp thirst crow bill", with a 443% enhanced damage if that would help.
I don't have any unique items yet. Also I don't buy items from the internet, I don't have money to spend buying those unique items. I just get my items from bosses.
Can anyone please tell me how my smite paladin will get damages similar to the paladins I see on other guides with damages reaching to several thousands. I'm really having difficulty making my smite damage big.
