I got to the end of Act 2 and now I've got to Duriel's chamber and how do I kill this b*******? Barbarian level 26.

Well I'm sure you've killed it already, but it's never too late for nice melee tip...
If you play melee class in LoD, you can always purchase necro wand with life tap charges. Put it on switch, cast it on boss, switch to weapon of your choice and hack away. Remember to cast it now and then, and you won't die as long as you hit boss. Weapons with crushing blow, +attack rating and increased speed help bringing Duriel down faster...

Hey man, TOTALLY feeling your pain. I was lvl 25 when I got to him and he was a *****! I'm a sorceress, so I pretty much just ran around like crazy and potted about 4000 times and kept running back to town whenever he'd hit me. I even had half freeze duration and those thawing potions didn't do ****! Anyway, I hired mercenaries to "tank" but they died in like 3 seconds each. I'm not playing expansion though, so they are useless :x. I would suggest mass inferno to the face but I suppose that wouldn't work in your case but anyway GOOD LUCK =).

For a barb over 24 it should be a fairly easy fight:

- Thaw Pots (for both you and your Merc).
- Strength Polearm on you and/or your Merc.
- BO and Shout so neither of you die.

You should be able to whack him dead with only a few trips to town. If you would like better help, I need to know exactly what skills you have on this barb.
