sure i can help refresh the mules. dont need any items though. but if the mules where permed they last for about 90 days depending on when you was last on the mules.

i have had some really bad streaks. only thing i have found thats usefull in 100+ games of mfing is a few low uniques that might get you a few pgems, gold and some rares thats worth some gold. but then i had a good streak finding 2x HoZ in 2 weeks.

speaking of the sun, just horked a vex in chaos with my friends. so now i got mal and vex from chaos by horking corpses in a last couple days :D

It varies how much mf you have, what char you mf with ..

The method i use atm is this: I have a lvl 90 Javazon equipped with only mf-gear from head to toe, around 400%. It can be improved, but for now i`ve let it be..
And i have a lvl 76 ES\Orb sorc that i use to tele to the places\bosses i want to grind, then run in with the Java and slay the target\s. CS and Fury really shines with this. It is very effective .. You also get twice the drop rate, since there are 2 players in the game.

I have 2 copies of D2 and LoD, and i use D2 loader, so that i can run 2 small windows side by side, play with 2 chars at the same time... Some consider it illegal, but i`ve been told by some ppl that they have been using it for ages and never got banned. So i try that until i get banned....

thanks, i will. not sure if i will use it on hoto though after thinking about it. the hoto would help tons on my hammer, and i can borrow an arach from a friend which will get me some nice fcr breakpoints, but then again i dont want to rush into anything. being the first hr i found in 5 years of playing D2 on and off i dont want to "waste" it. it will probably go towards hoto though since i cant think of anything usefull i need atm that requires vex and that contains runes i already have.

the extra players in the room add to the chance of getting better drops. the most recent drops I got were Eth Titans and a pair of Gores.

Yeah that Griff was very very very nice! I really like to make corpses for your horker in CS, NV! And I like your effort to pick up flawless gems for me ( thx again for that, mate ) ;)

My best finds? As I've posted before somewhere, 2 HR's this ladd; Lo from some random chest in Lower Kurast ( not bonfire one ), and Ohm from some monster in Canyon of the Magi ( turned into CTA4 ;) ).

Latest priv Chaos and Baal sessions I like to run produced 2 Araches, 2 DC spawns, 4 Baal charms ( 1 Bow&Cb + 30vita, 1Elemental, 1 Shadow, 1 left for roll ), and if NV is around horkin', TONS of gold just from him picking it while partied. Not too bad, eh?

My best recent find would be an um rune (but this doesn't count as MF) so in that cae it's Highlord's Wrath. The longest I've gone without finding anything decent would be a full day really. But what doesn't make sense is, I've MF'd, haven't found anything really good, but I have increadible items.

I have a botd eth ba, 2x CoH, Enigma, hoto, cta 5-3, 2x spirit monarch, Anni 15-20-8, 2 torches, and then some other really neat stuff.

I did have some okay-ish finds though.

With my Fury Druid (who I use to do Travi runs) I've found a clean Shape skiller (which I am using now! :D) a clean Curse skiller, Martial arts skiller 1-11 lightning damage. A 7% and a 6% mf sc. I also got 2 Windhammers (with 0% mf) and a Ravenfrost (still 0% mf).

I found a Tal's armor with my sorc (on a baalrun!) and while MFing I've found 2x Lidless and 2x Ravenfrost, 3x Dwarfstar and sadly really crappy Nagelrings (I really want a couple of perfs).

Nothing that awesome, but I can't complain either.

Alright, just found a 255 Defense Ancient Armor, this has 9% Enhanced defense. It also has 4 sockets.

I believe it would be pretty near perfect if i up it, since ancient armors can have 218 - 233 defense at base.

My questions: Do the 9% ED disappears if i up this armor once or twice?

and

Do the armor keep its original defense when upped?

I just found a Shadow tower shield, defence and block really isnt all thats cracked up 28/40% but the resistances on it are great, cold lightning are over 40% and cold and poison at 25% and half the poison length. wouldnt be so bad if it had better blocking... but im runnin a hybred fishy/poison necro so its all good.

I went to my friends house and played for the night.

Someone had a baal bot going through the night but I guess they messed up the max ammount of players in the game because I was the only person in the runs with it. I got a few unique ammy's that weren't great. A few set pieces. An earthshaker. 2 Thundermauls i think they were called, I sold both. A bloodletter sword that i sold. Some weaker bow. Also sold. And a few mid runes.

It was cool and I got my replacement HDin to lvl 87. I messed up the stats on my lvl 90 one, So I am remaking this other one.

I`ve found 2 pairs of Gore riders from the council lately. Strange that i got two of them only, i`m more hoping for rings and amulets.

But that is still satisfying =) Also found a pretty good Leviathan today, which my Paladin will be wearing for protection.

EDIT: Just found a PERFECT Hone Sundan. I guess that`s a good weapon to up and sell, or use it myself, although it can`t beat a Reaper`s Toll

I must salute and thank you, Sombre (It was Sombre, right^_^), for saying that. I didn`t mention whether it was eth or not, and it isn`t. I just couldn`t imagine it was worth upping it just to use it on a merc, since there are so many other better choices.

its worth familiarising yourself with some of the common LLD items, even if LLD aint your thang.

high-end lld gears can be worth an e-mint if you can find the right buyer.

I guess ^_^ I know it`s junk, but it was perfect and i remembered reading sometime it had some purpose if it was perfect and upped. The damage isn`t half bad either: 74 - 512 or something now, and with a 45% chance of crushing blow it`d deal some dmg from a good merc. With Fana and Might aura x)

LLD = Low Level Duelling (usually lvl 30 and below)

e-Mint = 'e' as in electronic, 'Mint' as in the place they print money.

upping: to upgrade the base item of a rare or unique to exceptional or elite status. eg: to up a HoZ is to turn a Herald of Zakarum Gilded Shield into a Herald of Zakarum Kurast shield (the base item is upgraded from Exceptional to Elite, base defence is re-rolled for the new item type, all other stats remain the same)

the Oath runeword blows pretty much every other MLD melee weapon right out of the water.

only stupid insane godly rares can compete, and even then, they're mostly used for style points instead of actual effectiveness.

the Kira's isn't a bad one, but OMFG, THAT GC!!!

10max/76ar is a perfect "fine" prefix. the 20 life and lvl 21 requirement on it make it an LLD charm (max life for an LLD gc is +25).

fyi: it's an LLD charm thats worth a LOT.

@ Vile: Great finds!! Yes it was a shame with +1 auras on Templar`s Might, but it`s still a nice armor and very rare. Kira`s are always in high demand, but i`d keep it for myself if i were you :D
