And one more thing: Do you play hardcore and ladder? Becuase if you are being serious with this i kinda feel like giving you some starter uniques just to help you get going. What character do you play?

Hi mate, I have been playing the game for 2 days now, never played before. Did not realize they had no value, I guess if any one has a low level char they can have them for free! Might even vend them then. When you say pgem, what do you mean?

I dont play hardcore mate, only on 2nd act on first time round. I play a barb :)

I guess you play softcore also then ^^ which means you can restart your character when you die. Hardcore characters cannot.

Pgems or pgs = Perfect gems. I'm quite sure you've found some chipped gems, these can be upgraded five times until they have the "perfect" mod. With these you can transform magic items so they get other mods, but that's a little complicated.

They are normally used for trading items and such besides transforming items.

I will play around 19:00 and onwards today. I will check my mules and see if i find any spare unique items. If i feel like it, i might rush you too..

Also hope you stay clear of any maphack, bots and such.

softcore and hardcore! This sounds perverted :) What do you mean by reset? As in, I die I res in town then run to body? So if I die in hardcore, thats it I start from level one again? That sounds scary! lol - is there any benifit to this?

Yea I have found loads of the chipped gems, I have just been selling them, did not know you can upgrade them. Thanks for that!

I stay well clear of hacks of any kind, have played MMO's far to long to see things like that ruin a game/community

Hehe xD You are the one with perverted humor here x) No just kidding, it might easily be mistaken.

Hardcore = If you die, you normally lose your the gear you wear and you cannot start over again. So you must be very careful when you play. It is a completely different way to play, although the game is the same.

If you want your gear back when you die, i think you must get a friend to collect it for you or something. Not sure about that one.

Softcore = It doesn't say softcore anywhere when you start to play, ppl just call those who don't play hardcore, softcore. Soft means easy ^^ so this means you can recover your body and start over with your gear in town. 95% of all players play this.


That's excellent to hear ^_^ I must confess i use something called D2loader, which is not something blizzard have anything to do with. I have bought 3 copies of d2 and lod, so i can run three games at the same time, and therefore combine characters strenghts... and mule by myself. Some consider it a hack, some don't - i think that if you buy several copies, you support blizzard - so i consider it okay.. almost x) i don't like using hacks but this is so helpful in the way that you can do everything yourself.

Can you tell me what your character name is? I have several ones, the most used is Taurean_java ^^ I spend a lot of time in the chat usually.

haha, cool mate. Thanks for clearing that up for me. My Char name is MrTashohnie. I am just on Act 4 now doing the last 2 quests :) And about to hit 26! Ill pop in chat after and see if you are there :)

Yes i was a little late, cleaning up and stuff at home. Ill whisper you from time to time ingame and we'll eventually meet ^^ I have gathered some stuff that you can have, nothing very good but some medium stuff that helps out..

Thanks a lot mate, when you say char name do you mean account name or the actual char I use?

accnames i rarely ask for, since i am quite a loner and like to play alone xD and if you add an accname you see every game that account\characer join and make, and that can be quite disturbing when you have a lot of accounts added ^^

aaaa didnt know you could add by just char name, that would be handy! Dont really like the idea of giving out my account name! But yea MrTashohnie is my one!

Just completed act 4, queit disapointed with Diablo's drop, I got nothing basicaly (well I dont think I did lol ) Took me about 15-20 mins to solo him and I lost about 100k worth of gold due to deaths!
