I was in a duelling game just a while ago and I was killed. I left the game straight afterwards and joined a new one and when I clicked on my body I looked in my inventory and saw that I am now missing a Grief PB, shako um'd, maras, ravenfrost, cta, spirit, bk. I am ******* pissed right now. This shouldn't happen!!! :(

Were you strength glitched and what not?

Either way, sorry for the loss. I once lost Trangs once too. Isn't a good feeling :(

I was killed twice but the second time I didn't get a chance to pick up my body. I was str glitched but it hadn't been a problem before.

Yes i think that can happen if you`re Strenght Glitched. That is if you get Str from items to make up for lack of Str, so that you can equip items with higher Str req.

When you try to pick the body up, if you have your inv full from before, then the items you had equipped need to be re-equipped in order to Str-glitch your char again. The items won`t automatically re-equip themselves, you have to do it. So the game removes what items needed from inventory and stores it there for you.

So you lose those items, i`m afraid x( I`ve lost Eth Shako, Um`d Stormshield, Peace runeword and a Spirit to this.

I had died a few times and everything was okay. I wouldn't feel as bad if Grief wasn't ladder only but unfortunately it is and it's worth like 6-8 hrs!!

You`ll just have to accept, learn from the mistake and start re-building your wealth again .. Although one feels crazy stupid afterwards (at least i did)

guys... i have also a strength glicthed character but if i haven't enough strength i even cannot pick my body up... thank godness because of the 20 all atributes torch//annih and some strength charms.

I could afford a new grief and maras but that would mean getting rid of items that I really don't want to have get rid of.

It depends somewhat on the way you do it. Like equipping an item with strength items then adding an item (that adds strength to keep it equipped) looks like it works but when you die, you do have equip strength stuff to re-equip. It's hard to make sense of this but basically if you know how to do it, I don't think you should have problems.

I mean I strength glitch many characters (some purposely, some not) to save stats and don't have problems.

Yeah. He was pretty much completely strenght glitched. It was a bit of a challenge trying to figure out the sequence of items to but on lol. ah well.

Hmm, though far fetched, it could have been that all those items have been duped and you just were really unlucky and happened to buy them all from the same person or whatever. But either way, sorry for your loss, I lost stuff like that before, it isn't a good feeling >.<

It wasn't an enigma I lost. The stuff I lost costs a lot on NL. Maras in itself is like 2 hrs.

Ive never lost my items to a str glitch. Ive had my acc hacked and been scammed in an Anni trade. So both times it was my fault. I was mad at myself for a while, but you cant stay mad over a game forever :)

I'd hate to have my account hacked. 2 people, not including me, have my pass but I trust them. Funny thing is I have never met them but have played with both of them on diablo for about 2 years. I have one of the guys passwords but both have given me really great stuff and helped me a lot so I know they won't do anything like that.

Wow... I don't understand why you'd give out your password to anyone. Just sounds like someone asking for trouble.

In any case, I've read that if your stash is completely full, there's a chance you could lose items when you die. I read that you should always keep 1 square open in your chest/stash for this reason. I've never lost anything from dying, except potions on my belt when my inventory was full.

Kinda stinks when everyone piles on your stuff when you die, so when you get back to your body, you have no more potions or money because someone's been greedy with your stuff. Sad.

Never happened to me, but I knew about it. It got a lot of thread before the reset. Wierd, but I'm str glitching and never had that problem, so I'm living in fear.
That just a stupid thing Blizzard should fix in their new patch cause I see now reason why you should be punished for being a smart player and figure out how to put no points in str.
I guess the lesson here is always pick up your corpse, eh?

hmmm a bit of adive i have is try a duel with ur friends, and simply pick your body up. if you pick your entire body up in 1 click and NONE OF YOUR GEAR is put in your inv, youll be fine just dont mess with it. i did this when i was makeing my ww dueler (100% full inv of charms) and he could fully equip his gear. i would have lost grief fort n other stuff simply because i was short 3 str. but you should check each time u remove a charm that adds a stat.
