computer or mouse?

lately when i've been playing diablo and diablo 2, i will click ONCE and the game will have the effect that i've clicked TWICE. this is only in game, this doesn't happen anywhere else, and i really am only clicking once. i would click on my inventory, and it would open and suddenly close in diablo 1, along with the spell access. in diablo 2, i would distribute a point and after clicking once, two points would be distributed in an attribute. this happens about 1 out of every 75 clicks or so. do i need a new mouse, or is there something with my computer?

It sounds like its the mouse to me. If you have another computer you could borrow the mouse and see if that fixes the problem.

yeah my mouse is too sensitive for diablo 2 or something. or it could be that i damaged it because a little bit ago i modified my stats and didn't have an autoclicker so i had to keep investing in attributes...i noticed the problem didn't occur until after then
