PvP Summoner Question

I just made my PvP Summoner yesterday, and got him fully geared today. I was recommended to use Beast for my weapon, but went with a hoto. (The fact that i already had one contributed to my decision) Anyway, i had the oppritunity to buy a beast today, but just cant find out what makes it better than hoto, all it has is the 30 Str, which is good for Spi Mon req, and fantacism. It has IAS, but i didn't think that helped Summon necros, thought the person trying to sell it seemed to think the IAS is applied to my skellies and mages. Anyway, my question is whether or not the IAS on Beast increases my skellie's IAS. Also, Beast or Hoto? Thanks for the help guys.

Its not the IAS its the fanaticsm aura that helps ur skellies:

Fanat= Ias and it increases damage! on u and ur skellies

I went with the HOTO also, I want to try the Beast though. More damage is always nice, and the fanat should deliver a lot.

Been using the Beast i scored and love it! Skellies grooving on it and killing fast! I'm a lazy bum and love to sit baclk and watch skellies massacre.
