View Full Version : Need Help With Javazon Merc

I just completely built my javazon, couldn't ask for any better gear other than 7 java life GCs. Neway, the next step i'm taking is to build a good merc. I was wondering if anybody could supply information on which merc i should get, and what the BEST gear that merc could have. Also, anything else i should know besides what i already asked would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, peace.

An ActII Holy Freeze merc (defensive merc hired at nightmare diff) to slow enemies down.

My personal choice of best gear is:

Eth Andys Face with 15 ias/ fires res jewel
Eth bugged Fortitude
Eth Infinity in CA or CV

My jav use an act 3 cold merc and always had very good result, even in hell.
This guy froze everyone, so give plenty of time for PJ or jab if you get ligth. imm. And almost never die since he stay far from the monsters. And he can have a shield, so good for him.
But you do need a strong Valk.
As for the gear, cannot help you with that, since i dont mule, just always do with the best i found.

If not, i suppose ill go for the HF act 2 merc as well.

would bramble be a bad choice for the merc?

Other than a lvl 15 -21 thorns aura i dont see why u would want to use Bramble. Why not use Fortitude / eth Shaftstop?

Bramble on a merc is soundly beaten by cheaper armors like Treachery and Duress, not to mention the others listed already.

Well, it does depend somewhat on what helm/wep your merc is using, but those three and Duress will win 99% of the time.

Hehe, i was hoping they were correct, or else i knew i'd be grilled by you or that other guy ^^
