Judging from what I saw on the witchdoctor I say I like the necro more, but I am more than willing to try out the doctor Im interested to see all the other skills it will have.
My final judgment will come when I get to actually play WD.

As said earlier, you can't make a final judgment till you have actually played the character :\ thats just my opinion. As long as I can make a horde of summons again ill be happy if not, my summons better be able to get pretty dang strong and last awhile :D

Actually Blizzard North was planing to make five completely new classes for D3. But because they wanted to work on a new project and left Blizzard, D3 was moved to Irvine and they brought the Barbarian back.

Btw we've seen the WD with just one kind of armor. Who knows how he'll look in some other armor. I doubt he'll be able to just wear totemic masks, so just wait and see.

I played the hell out of the necro class in D2 so I for one welcome the change. WD is similar enough to fit my play style while different enough to draw my interest. If I want to play the necro, I have D2 installed on my machine already and there's no need to even wait for D3.

anyway, the necromancer does look strange without his armor...an old man with long, slicked back white hair, but his armor is badass. the bone and metallic appearance combined is awesome.

honestly, i don't like the witchdoctor, and none of you can persuade me otherwise. he's got a hunchback (maybe not, but a horrible stance nonetheless...) and i like the necromancer's spells better. both have confuse, witchdoctor has plague, but necromancer has poison nova. poison nova looks better, has a larger radius, and the same effect-slowly drains life. the necromancer's skeletons,golems, and revives are terribly underpowered (shame on you blizzard!) but look awesome and have cool effects. i would much rather raise a skeleton than a ...dog/pumba type thing...

now as for "wall of zombies>bone wall", that's just ridiculous. the wall of zombies, i mean. it seems so childish and cliché. not to mention the instability. the zombies were rocking back and forth like a boat on waves. at least the bone spikes were stable appearance-wise.

yeah, you missed something. this is what you missed:

Blizzard Entertainment also stated that other than the Barbarian, there will be no returning character classes from the first two games. It's quite likely that the Barbarian is an exception because it was far and wide the favorite character class, most often chosen by Diablo II players.

I think how the WD walks just adds to the character. Like...it's not the same old run animation for all the classes now...they all have their own ways of traveling, that just adds to it, in my opinion.

Greetings everyone. I have returned. in my recent studied,I have discovered,although this is not completly reasearched yet,that you have a choice in gender of your character....this is not fully reasearched yet so yeah...oh! and by the way. I have seen the WD in action and he does look pretty cool. silly,yet cool skills. AND they have the Whirlwind skill from D2 for the Barbarian in D3 as well. This I am pleased about. I have returned. in my recent studied,I have discovered,although this is not completly reasearched yet,that you have a choice in gender of your character....this is not fully reasearched yet so yeah...oh! and by the way. I have seen the WD in action and he does look pretty cool. silly,yet cool skills. AND they have the Whirlwind skill from D2 for the Barbarian in D3 as well. This I am pleased about.
