Rune placement and a confirmation

Okay honestly how hard would it be for blizz to release a quick 1.13 patch that has a confirmation box for inserting runes. I'm only posting this because last night was just moving stuff around and placed a f***ing Pul rune in a god forsaken aldur's goat mask thing. I'm so pissed at this, I DEMAND CONFIRMATION BOXES!!!

I always, always watch extreamely closely when working with my runes/gems and socketed items.

I've already accidently socketed gems onto junk armour and had to dump them.

Yes, it's so very annoying, but that's when you have to actually really pay attention extra closely.

I also agree a confirmation box would be nice, but it is very unlikely Blizzard will make a patch for this.

Thadius is right to say that it is highly unlikely to be changed, but if brought in the right state of mind and context, it would be possible to convince Blizzard to have it in D3.

well, if blizzard made a patch exclusively to put in confirmation boxes, they would have to make lots of other changes as well (such as skill remapping, etc), and i seriously don't think they want to spend that much time on Diablo 2 anymore.
Just accept D2 as it is now, and face the fact, that it won't change anymore.
