Act 1 or 2?

Ightt, now since I might be starting a Lightning Amazon on Battle.net, (maybe even Single Player if I'm rich enough), I'd like to know what the best mercenary is to have. Don't worry, I've already Googled and looked up a nice Amazon build so no worries there. When I was searching guides, there were several choices listed for what type of mercenaries to have for an Amazon. One person said an Act 1 mercenary with Faith would be good because of the Fanactism aura that Java zons don't get. Another person said an Act 2 mercenary with an Infinity weapon ould be the best because of his conviction aura. My guess is the Act 2 mercenary to get rid of Lightning immunes, but what would you guys choose? Not toally sure which I'd like to go with because I'm not totally rich, so should I go out and aquire a Faith, or save up for the Inifinity?

I'd save up for the Infinity, since A2 mercs are #1 anyways.

Act2 Nightmare Defensive Merc. Gives Holy Freeze aura to slow down enemies while you chug Furys at them.
Few options for gear
Helmet:
1.Andariel's Visage
2.Vampgaze
3.Rocktopper or Tals Helmet

Weapon:
Infinity ECV/ECA/EThresher

Armor:
1.Fortitude
2.Smoke
3.Shaftstop

yea ummm it depends if u want to help YOU or your mercenary if u want your mercenary better go offensive i think it is he gets like 1k better maxi damage well thats on my battle.net account but he has all his gear idk if that would affect it but it helps alot.

ok when u throw a jav and you have a might aura on ur merce and stuff/w/infinity... would the jav do more dmg cause really dont u want more dmg or would u just be better off going with the holy freeze merce just to slow them down???
