What's the best "cheap" barb build???

I haven't played for a couple years and forget a lot so bear with me. I want to build a melee character so I was thinking...go with a barb.

Whats the "cheapest" barb build and by cheap I mean it doesn't matter what kind of gear you have......kind of like the fishymancer of the barbs. A barb that doesn't require all the special armor and weapons like I lost for not playing for a couple of years lol. A "cheap" barb....if there is such a thing.

For PvM, I'm guessing.

Your main focus will be:

CB-the boss killer
OW-negative regeneration
Resists-obvious
Defense-to a degree, just enough to limit their hits
Life leech and mana leech-to keep you able to use your attacks
Life Tap if you're seriously worried about losing life.

Now for skills...it really depends on what fits best for you.

Concentrate-Nice and safe but only works on one enemy at a time
WW-Great for crowds, but lower levels leave you with less than desirable damage
Frenzy-The Uber skill of choice due to crazy speed.

1 point Berserk-Not so hot as a standalone PvM skill due to zero defense and you can't leech with it. I mention this due to physical immunes and for when you're cursed with Iron Maiden.

As far as cheapness goes...that's pretty hard to tell. The reason the fishymancer is so successful is that it has a ton of summons between him and the monsters. A barb doesn't have that luxury.

The IK set is fairly inexpensive. Why not go for a IK WWer? Cheap and effective-- a great combo :D

Omnicide, do you think Frenzy beats WW for PvM? It's been a long time since I've played, but D3 has got me wanting to start a new char.

It's hard to say really. Frenzy works well because it's insanely fast, letting you get in a LOT of hits, but it's essentially a melee skill...one that doesn't attack separate enemies. WW is better at crowd control, but you really need mana leech to keep it up and going. It's really based on your style.

I thin kWW is better becaus eof its crowd control, but Frenzy is nice becuse it is so fast, and its different, no more cookie-cutters :P
