Trapper trying to convert to HYBRID

Hey all, I am new to D2 LOD.

Basically, I am trying to create a ladder, pvm, trapper that will be decent in killing bosses. So I'm assuming this will be some sort of hybrid.

Currently I -lvl 50, with maxed lightning sentry, pre-reqs in trap and shadow tree, and one point wonders. Moreover, since this is my first ever character, I am, i think the term is .. untwinked?... in that my equipment set is pretty noob.

Any suggestions on what else I should max to convert this trapper so that it can take on some bosses? I'm also assuming that a pure lightning trapper will suck against bosses like Baal/Ubers etc. Thanks!

if you don't have the gear yet, just make a pure trapper with a decent fire-blast for lit immunes.

later on, when you have some kit for a cheap'ish pvm hybrid, i'd reccomend the following:

gear:
helm: guillaumes
ammy: anything with resists and maybe some + sin/trap skills
armour: treachery
belt: t-gods or some swish rare with resis/fhr/stats etc
rings: 1x raven and who really cares
shield: stormshield, gerkes, Sanctuary runeword, Whistans Guard.
wep: black flail, stormlash, crescent moon, anything with half-decent speed and some crushing blow.
boots: up'd gores

skills:
d-talon so you have lvl18 with +skills
1pt venom, mind-blast, d-flight, shadow-master
ALL THE REST TO TRAPS & SYNERGIES

stats:
str: 156 with gear on (not counting the +str on the SS)
dex: enough for max-block with your shield of choice.
vit: as much as you can possibly scrape up
energy: luzl.
