Nevermind me. I've only just woken up and missed his sarcasm (as hard as that is). The way I see it, Diablo 3 is a new game. It shouldn't be the same as Diablo 2. Of course there's going to be a whole bunch of changes. The old hardcore fans don't have to like it, because the hundreds of thousands of new kids that will take their place will like it. Anyone who loves Diablo 2 enough is going to buy and play Diablo 3 anyway. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It would actually be disappointing if they didnt adopt SOME of Wow's feats to d3. Wow isn't a bad game, most people just don't like the p4p function. The pvp is fun, and there's sooo much to keep you busy. Leveling is tough, but someone told me it get's better after 20, similiar to the 1-25 hump.

WoW is to slow paced to me. I've tried it on more than one occasion... and I can't seem stick with it.

It's certainly not a bad game..... millions of people play it. So they did SOMETHING right with it. I just personally don't like it.

I'm not saying Diablo shouldn't completely ignore WoW either. To ignore EVERYTHING from a brother series that is successful is a retarded step. As much as I hate WoW there's GOT to be some things from it that can make Diablo 3 better.

That's the case with most of the MMO's. It takes longer to get out of the first boring part. I've tried out EVE but I stopped after one month as all you do at the beginning is training your learning skills.

I was kinda dissapointed because right when I saw it I thought of WoW right away. Though i've never played wow cause the cartoony graphics are so damn lame. Yes I know judging stuff by graphics is bad blah blah blah.... but I still like diablo 2's graphics better then these.

I honestly didn't see the similarities between WoW and D3. Or...more accurate to say, I didn't see how what they put into D3 was WoW's fault. A lot of the "graphical" stances are more artistic than cartoony.

And...I'm going to compare some of these complaints from D3 and D2.

"Large shoulder armor"-Take a look at the Barb/sorc/necro's armors. You can see them here (http://diablo3.ingame.de/tips/Modenschau/). They're larger than needed, too.

"Bright colors"-I have a theory that those levels are early in the game, before hell has ravaged the land. People are mostly griping because there's no darkness yet. It's been 20 years since D2...life has flourished. Plus...D2 has colors...just not as well blended. Anyway...the common solution to the brightness complaint is "alter your gamma and brightness if it bothers you that much".

"Cartoony"-The ONLY thing I've found relatively cartoony so far is the shaman. And really him and the fallen are just jokes anyway.

as for "large shoulder armor", the pictures with diablo 2 character's shoulder pads were not necessarily THAT large, (larger than needed, yes) but they're talking about how the new pads are twice the size of the character's head.
