Whenever someone bashes either her directly or my liking for her, of course I defend it with a post where I'm usually only half-kidding in the first place, saying things like "November 23, 1992 > September 28, 1987" to Tom when he does it because, well...that's just how we roll. He does it to me, too. Trust me. We kid with each other. And other times I use facts as my defense, in which case someone else posts a reply in which they're kidding with me. As far as her show is concerned, I am uncertain as to how long it will "keep going", simply because it is a show about a young teen pop star who leads a double life, and the actress who plays HM--Miley Cyrus--is growing and maturing, and fast. And soon, she'll look too old to be the character that she plays in the show, which could cause complications. Television series with young actors have experienced these problems in the past; a similar situation happened in LOST, for example, involving a teen actor who went on a sudden growth spurt in real life. The producers had to kill off his character because of it. :P

As far as everything besides the show goes, as in her acting and music...I only see them improving and flourishing in the future. Hannah Montana isn't and will not be a "phase", in my opinion...after the show comes to an end for the said reasons above, I have a feeling Miley Cyrus will continue on her road to success without problem.

Miley Cyrus became a teen sensation literally over night. That's something extremely hard to do, and I doubt it will be done again for quite a little while. You don't make record sales for your albums and have record viewings for your show, and sell out in literally MINUTES for your concerts by being "some (blank)-old girl with a "funky name" and a good voice.
