30 suffix
23 prefix
monarch spawn at ilvl 72min
so you could have 29 suffix avial to roll jmod with ilvl 72-74 monarch, that would eliminate the "collosus 41-60life" mod

thats a total of 667 different combos, one being jmod with ilvl 72-74 monarch

2001 Perfect Gems

50.025 pul runes if you trade 1 pul per 40pgems

750.375fg if your trading 15fg per 40pgems

thats approx 750fg per jmod with ivl 72-74 monarch, whats cheaper? make your own or by one?

Ilvl 72-74 items can drop from these locations in hell difficulty. Special monsters drop higher ilvl items, dont pick up your monarch from them
Act1
Inner Cloister
Cathedral
Catacombs Level 1
Catacombs Level 2
Catacombs Level 3
Catacombs Level 4

Act2
Sewers Level 1
Sewers Level 2

huh? o.O

he/she 's trying to say that the best place to find a magical monarch with the best chance of rolling a jmod is in these places..

would that be for like making a 4x isted mf shield?

not necessarily. jmod = jeweler's monarch of deflecting = one of the rarer items in game = very expensive.

4 sockets, 20 increased chance of blocking & 30 faster block rate.
this means that it's the most versatile shield for any character that wishes to maintain max block.

elemental dmg-dealers can socket them with facets, those obsessed with speed can put in ias, those who wants immortality'll put in sols etc etc.. all this on a shield with decent blocking percentage thus dexterity requirements to maintain max block is decent =)

Well done, but, how did you figure that out...?

by using probability of the magical suffix/prefix mod spawns in accordance to the ilvl of the magical monarch.

btw, @OP. so by getting an ilvl 72-74 magical monarchs reduces the "of colossus" suffix from spawning only? that doesn't do significantly much.. and you didn't factor in that the magical item has a chance to spawn with only 1 affix. somehow i don't think 1:667 chance of rolling a jmod is the correct value. it should be considerably higher.

Just ignore him. He'll be banned soon, just like last time.

Jmod shields are amazingly handy. Putting facets in them makes them perfect for non-pally casters, or Javzons.

i did forget about the chance of only getting one mod, I need to find that info and recalculate

o.O Jmod, eh? Can't you just stick four 5/5 facets into a 4 soc Monarch? Or is the 20 increased chance of blocking and 30 faster block rate required to be a Jmod?

The blocking is required.

People use it for making 20/20 shields, and also being able to achieve max block easily.

It wouldn't be a Jeweler's Monarch of Deflecting if it were just a "Monarch" with 4 sockets, would it? :)

No, but people still use 4-socket shields to put Facets and other jewels/runes in to increase their damage (for PvP, I'm assuming).

"Jeweler's" = 4 sockets (for a monarch) ...

DG.Havok

Jmod = Jeweler's Monarch of Deflecting

Prefix
Jeweler's Add 4 Sockets Shields(55)

Suffix
Deflecting +20% Increased Blocking, 30% Faster Block Rate Shields(11)

Hence the name for JmoD that describe its attributes.
