So,

I have 3 friends and myself try to game on Thursdays and Saturday evenings.

Friend A has a run of the mill, store bought computer...cable connect
Friend B has a 2 year old Alienware Gaming rig....wireless connect
Friend C has a custom built rig, he did himself......cable connect
I have a top of the line laptop....wireless connect

The first time we played, our friend with the run of the mill puter, hosted. No problems. A little bit of lag here and there but...we have a Necromancer with us and was using lots of summoned characters. We then all had hirelings and it still was smooth sailing. Played for about 3 hours, no problems.

The past few times, someone else has tried to host and we keep getting a "Failed to connect to game" error. This happens if anyone else but our friend who hosted originally, tries to setup our session. Doesn't matter who.

If our main friend, with that run of the mill computer hosts, we can all get in and everything is fine. We can only join with him??

We always use the same game name and password.

What's the deal?

I'm sure that, it's not Game name and password specific for joining, is it? I mean, since we started with that original game on his computer, that doesn't mean someone else can't host our session, with that same name and password right? We tried for an hour last night, the 3 of us. As soon as our friend got home and hosted..we all could join...no problems. Very odd.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions??

Forgot to mention...

We play through Battle.net

We do not play through direct IP.

To update...
