I want to build a poison Java Zon, heres what i came up with.

20 Poison Javalin
20 Plague Javalin
Prereqs
1 Into all passive/magic skills
1(+?) into Guided Arrow (Finish last 1hp after posion)

Gear
I am at a loss. Perhaps a Monarch with 4x poison facets. Nigma for telly? Help here if possible.

Trang ouls gloves, but only after your + skills passes lvl 32 i think. Just after then they start giving benefit, until then, wear +2 to javelin and spear skills-gloves.

And for armor, wear bramble runeword ;D expensive, you might need to use something else for the time being, and then you should look for + skills on the armor.

And i think your shield suggestion is the best out there, as far as i know...

Bramble + Trang gloves + faceted monarch. A stormshield if you want maxblock
Possibly a shako with psn facet in it. Or a sexy +3 java 3 soc circlet with 3 facets in it.
Bk/Raven frost perhaps.
Amu... Mara's or highlords...?
Belt, Ummh... idk, Nosferatus/dungos..
Boots... Treks..
Weapon, Titan's
On switch cta / spirit monarch or Cta / +1 skills shield if you can't equip the spirit monarch
