weird zon gloves

currently i am building a bowzon. i was asking what glvs to use. they told me to use Gale Grasps. any1 have an idea an what the mods are to these gloves?

Pretty sure they are rare gloves, not uniques. So no wonder you don't know what he was talking about..

Could be that he was referring to commonly duped gloves too, if he told you that you should tell him that duping is bad x)

You can't know for sure, at least as far as i know. One sure way to know is if you would happen to see two people having the same exact rare items. There are some rare items in the game that are commonly duped, because they have very good mods. You can always post a screenshot here to get advice on whether they are duped or not.

I think you can use a in-game drop calculator to somehow find out if an item is duped, but i haven't tried it. Let's see if anyone knows :)

If people are trading a high-quality rare (for instance PvP gear) by name, then it is duped.


Names on rare and crafted items is randomly rolled, so there is no reason to ever trade them by name.

yes. but rolls are most likely be at least a little different.

The way I check is by googling the name, if you get d2jsp or ebay etc posts about people wanting/selling that item then its definitely a dupe; items don't change hands enough for more than one post to come up on google, and like Veneteaou said, if its a crafted and not duped, its not traded by name.

the "important" mods for a bowazon are the IAS, random suffix, and the knockback, a craft affix for hitpower gloves, very useful for non-wf users to get somewhere, gloves is one place (hitpower crafts or clegs), a g-skull is the other.

the +2 passive and leech is just gravy.

Any rare or crafted item being traded by name is duped, but they can be perm. I'm pretty sure no name for rares or crafted items will spawn twice. D2 got it kind of backwards now that I think about it with Uniqs and Rares.

What do you mean no name will spawn twice? I have had several Circlets with the same name, same as rings. They're all random and as such coincidences will occur.

have to agree. imo, even cleglaws gloves beat the mentioned gloves.

well i have seen those gloves before but doesnt mean they are duped there are prolly 30 possible different zon gloves(not alot) prolly not that cause i have a ammy that is gg for a cold sorc anyways
