All high level games nothing but bots?

Well yesterday night I finally made it to hell mode. I had taken about 3ish years off of d2 because of real life issues and decided it sounded fun again, so me and a buddy fired up the installation.

After joining a couple of hell games we noticed that it was nothing but level 90 bots doing baal runs. How do we know? Because of the stupid scripted BS they say "Welcome to clan ""XXX"" baal run, please sorc use static!" and other crap. Not to mention if you hostile one they leave the game in an instant.

Is the ladder just full of bots? Every single game we have joined Hell Baal run has been a bot.. What gives?

Got to get to lvl 99. Too much work to sit in front of the monitor and actually play. I find it amazing the priorities some of these players have. Not to mention the risk of getting the Bnet ban. Wouldn't that suck, getting a 90 day or perm ban just as you hit lvl 98.

The day that all baal games are just bots running other bots...then you'll know D2 has been completely destroyed. : /

Anyways, ATM not everything is full of bots, but a fair number of people use them to MF, do baal runs, or spam people with advertisments.

I enjoy the Squelch game.

When you enter the Chat Screen, squelch all the bots before their spams splatters in the chat. You get 1 point for every bot squelched, -2 if a bot spams. Sometimes they disguise themselves as real players and PM you. I give myself bonus points for getting them squelched.

Well, there was a new running bot released (that's all I'm gonna say about it) so people are taking advantage of it.

It'll be banned soon, so take advantage of lots of run games while you still have the chance.

Humans can still run far faster than bots anyway. Just many runs that don't involve a bot happen to involve idiots.

No. If you are running a bot on HC you do it in a private game. The risk of getting TPPK'd is to much of a risk.
