How much is good damage for a lightning sorc?

cause my sorc is 76 and only does 35k with lit with bo's..i can't use my arach yet so that'll probably add 1-2 thousand..and i'll probably get it to about 45k atleast by like 86..but i heard people can do upto like 52k+..it doesnt seem like mine will get that high even tho i got 9 lit charms, 5/5 lit facet eschutas and griffons eyes, maras, 2 soj's, spirit, etc..i dont know how else to add damage..

mine only does 14k. be glad you have enough wealth to make it reach 35k ;)

I use a light sorc for my mf char. She only does 22k. And I've found that to be more then enough. The only character that takes more then 2 hits is baal. Granted I do have a infinity merc, but that is besides the point. Your damage is fine.

And once you have maxed all of your synergies, you will add 2k for every plus skill item you equip. but I don't think you finish a light sorc build until 92-93. So you've got a few more lvls to go.

That is plenty of damage, and you've got some nice gear there, I still need a few more gcs and a griffons on my sorc but i still find that she does plenty of damage, I have no idea how people can get 52K damage thats insane haha I wish i could do that

You shouldn't have trouble hitting 45k+ with 9x skillers at that level. My light sor hit 38k I believe, with just 1 skiller / torch / anni. That was with CoH as well, not ormus.

My Light/Fire Sorc only does 11k at lvl 91. I don't know what you need 52k for, I can deal out huge punishment at 11k. Why bother?

how is that besides the point? lowering enemies resistance greatly increases your damage output. its been proven that as long as your enemy have positive resistance, adding -% resistance will add more damage than +%. if you can lower the enemies resistance to below 0, adding +% damage is better.
