My Amazon with 20% MF spent alot of time clearing River of Flame/Chaos Sanctuary from City of the Damned waypoint. I surprisingly ended up with a pair of good Steelrend, a Lo rune, a shako, a couple of Gore Riders, a Warshrike, a Fleshripper, a 12% superior Archon Plate, ALOT of gold to gamble random rings and amulets (the best lightning amulet I've ever seen...) and plenty of stuff I'm forgetting about.

Andariel and Mephisto have been the most generous for me for aslong as I can remember, with an Arachnid Mesh, Dracul's Grasp, a couple of Shakos, 2 Stones of Jordan, 49% War Travs, Tal Rasha's armor and amulet, and again alot of stuff I can't recall...

I've never been successful in the Pit or at Pindleskin, for some reason...

yea i nevr saw the mf in the pit.... who do u even kill? i have dona a few and have found nothing. also i have a hammerdin and it is quite urksome to do a pit rune wit a hammerdin

You kill everyone, because the in the pit, any item in the game can drop due to the high ilvl.

not just kill, the props (dead rogue corpses, barrels, chests, ect) can also drop from the highest treasure classes as well, because of the area lvl.

actually, to get tc87s you need to kill those champs, unique monsters + minions. area level of the pit is just 85. not enough to get tc87.

since i play sp, pindleruns is certainly a given. other than that, i love running hell andariel just for jewellery. a month running her has net me 2x tal's ammy, 2x telling of beads, 2x arcanna's sign, highlord's, atma's, cat's eye, 2x bk rings and countless dwarf stars/raven frosts. still looking for another soj tho =)

oh and dont forget to check the barrels in andy's throneroom, ive seen even great MFer's do an andy run, got poor drops and move to the next one, then i come along behind them and break the barrels to find something amazing.

I'm running Hell Meph, LK chests and Hell Countess right now, giving me nice items (Meph), nice charms (LK) and nice runes (Countess).
When I'm done with my 2k meph runs I'll hunt down Pindle for some even nicer items.

The best places to MF are the level 85 areas. as they can drop almost every item in the game.

I've had the most success doing pit runs with my hammerdin. I've got a little over 300 MF on him and the drops are ridiculously good.

its mostly just pure luck, but doesnt mean the place is great

people are just lucky to find items in those places =/

HAHA URKSOME nice word =P i do meph runs! found a hoz, soj, arachs. also i like Nihlathak mostly for the keys but ive gotten some nice scs from hom, 100 psn and a 175 psn. Countess and SUmmoner just for the keys, never really found anything good otherwise except an um from countess once i think. I keep trying pindle but its not giving me anything good.

i have done many countess runs and got cham from minions cause there minions can drop any rune in the game

For my part i tele down to Andy, Meph and Baal (if i can, i die sometimes), and enter game with my Javazon with 350% MF, and CS them to death. I have a staff with Lower resist charges on switch that i use...

Haven`t found anything REALLY good yet, but i found my first non-eth Shako from Andy the other day (yay) .. And i now have 6 mules with all sorts of crap that i`m gonna give or trade away soon. I keep thinking that it just might be worth something ..

Edit: Also found a 4\5 Fire Facet from Mr Mephisto i think it was

I go countess, the pit, over to mephisto (kill the council up top and all the ones in lvl 3), chaos and diablo, over to shenk and the other unique just north of the wp, down to pindle, kill nihlathek, pop Baal and his minions on the nose, and then, if I'm feeling like it, I'll scour some other places for good finds. Tomb runs, archane sanctuary, etc...

I switch it up every once in a while, and do key runs sometimes, or add in Andariel or trav.

Mf whatever you like and easy for you.
I personally get bored pretty fast from mfing so I switch constantly places.
Countess, however I think maybe the best overall place to mf since the weak monsters and chances for great reward along with good chances for some T keys. Too bad it requires teleport.

Anyway, I hate lk chests. Anyone actually got something good from them?

my best is an ist. but there are people who got surs and bers.
imo, lk-running is more for SP due to the static maps and short run times. just like pindle-runs =)

Well, ist is good enough. and I too heard that "there are people who got bers" from there, but I wanted to know if there's someone here.. because rumors are usually.. well, just rumours. thanks for your input anyway.
And Pindle runs are a great B.net runs as well, as long as you do them afer/before another run, andy/mephisto for example.
andy+mephisto+pindle run is a great run which I did for a long time.

Speedy5th, LK chest is a chest in the Lower Kurast area (or for short- LK) in A3 which is located inside houses near a big unique fire which has a "big" potential of droping high runes and good stuff.
I hate it, especially because the monsters that may spawn there, but some people say it's a good place.
