I found something out. Right click on your Diablo II desktop icon. Left click on the properties tab. Enter the code in the target line after the quotes and add a space between the last quote and first code.
-"nosave" (dash and quotes are to be included)
This code disables saving
This code currently works as of the 1.11 patch.
This code is for single player only ( as far as I know)
Parden me if this is widely known

o_o seriously? Lolio, I see no point in even having that.... Well I guess it would save the trouble outts quitting the whole program... But how would you save the cube recipie you got if it dosn't save???

Save time, get a Single-Player editor, and just make perfect versions of the runewords you have the ingredients for.

i believe he meant that sarcastically.
anyway, if you think re-cubing using the above mentioned method isn't cheating, you're wrong.

Not positive, but I'm pretty sure you can't have the diablo window up when changing the properties. Well...you can but it won't work.

This is almost as bad as using Hero Editor to resurrect HC characters...
Just... No.
EDIT: Sorry about that. I mis-read the date on the first page. thought it was 09.
