I found something out. Right click on your Diablo II desktop icon. Left click on the properties tab. Enter the code in the target line after the quotes and add a space between the last quote and first code.

-"nosave" (dash and quotes are to be included)

This code disables saving
This code currently works as of the 1.11 patch.
This code is for single player only ( as far as I know)

Parden me if this is widely known.

well the nosave is both useful and useless, usefull if u die, useless if u find something good
