Hey I am planning on making a thrower barb and I was just wondering since I heard from multiple people that you cant soc throwing weapons,(which is a bummer -.-) If I had like a jewel that gave IAS would it take affect on my weapons on attack. Cause some people say that for barbs it only affects it's attack if it's socketed on a weapon.

If you could help me out with this that would be great.

The only barb skill that I know the "only weapon IAS matters" is applied to is for WW. Most other melee attacks take all IAS into account.

So IAS in your helm/shield/armor/gloves/etc will help out your throwing, from what I know.

for barb skills, only ww is weapon ias-only dependent. other skills can rely on off weapon ias.

check the ias calc to check out the speed of which you double throw.

WW is the only Barb attack that only on-weapon Ias makes an affect.
