That would be kind of pointless, there aren't any curses that directly damage an enemy. Unless you use iron maiden. Anyway I don't think anyone's ever thought of that.

search for mojomancer.
best used as a support character and pretty challenging. wouldn't really say it's pointless since you'll be king of crowd control.
imagine casting maxed dim vision. you can practically walk around most monsters unnoticed =P
You can equip the Trangs set and use the fire spells with LR, very slow but it will work, eventually, especially if you combine it with a poison weapon like a Gargoyle's Bite or else a high elemental damage weapon.

mojos are viable, im working on one in SP just to try it out, CE is a big center in the build, ill let you know how it turns out and maybe post a guide when im done.
basics (1 in each curse is given)
20 corpse explosion
20 golem mastery, with a golem of your choice, personaly iron is perfect for this build
10 in bone armor, wall and prision
thats all i got so far, but im still tweaking it as i go, it may change completely when im done

i think a curse build would be kinda pointless unless u put 20 in mastery and summon skellys then u can use iron maiden and dim vision and have bramble on merc+edge+dream helm(act 1 merc) and on urself u can put on bramble(4 good lvled thorns auras on a bunch of skellies with maxed iron maiden will probably be VERY deadly)+another edge on urself+and another dream.this is some stuff i thought of on the top of my head so this might suck or not.plus maybe a maxed out iron golem made out of a bramble.

Mojomancer is definitely viable...and fun in how unorthodox it plays.
I have to admit it was a lot better playing than I thought.
Maybe not a whole character based on the curse tree (Use of CE and some golems), but you can definitely have a character with points invested heavily in the curse tree.
Mojomancer ftw.

lol, it is more of a mess around kind of build if you ask me, and like dlav123 said, you would need some type of damaging thing like skeles or maybe an easy bone spear, just something to do some damage

(attractA + iron maidenB)X + Corpse Explosion = Y
where A= monster 1, B= monster pack, X= number of deaths, and
Y= spongey red carpeting
do the math . . . . . . XD

In PvM.
You could also go the Iron Golem/Merc route and do it that way, too. All while you're standing safely from the blind monsters.

i've checked it out, the total maximum Iron Maiden you can reach is 54 + CTA (not sure what the cap it gives, but meh. figure you can get 57), so roughly (i forget the % it gives exactly) 1640% returned. and 136% to players. always wanted to try a SuicideNecromancer.

If you are one to use D2loader, or simply just use two accounts at once, Cursemancers can be your best friends along with conviction-paladins. Max Lower resist, use it on bosses together with conviction if you like. Maybe decrepify instead, depends on what build you are helping out... The possibilities are limitless... And i use three keys :D

Not everyone's willing to play using three characters at once. ._.;

the highest lvl you can reach for any skill is lvl 54, without using a hack. Me and busch have tested this with his barb, and ive tested it with my own necro. using every imaginable equipment combination. highest lvl skill atainable is a lvl 54.
