Download for Vista?

Hey we got a new Dell comp with Vista about 5 months ago and we tried downloading D2 then but it didn't work and now my dad wants me to hook it up so is there a download for using Vista with it.

Where are the armour information that was on this site? I used it to build new characters. We need it back!

Right click, properties, run compatability as Win XP.

If that doesn't work, tell me

Also on the same tab you change compatibility make sure to disable desktop compensation. I have Vista Premium and I had to download 1.11 patch before I was able to even install the expansion. Even somtimes you have to modify the registry for older games/programs running on Vista. I had to do this for a few people tryin to use D2 on Vista machines.

i have vista and it worked fine...just dont try using ATMA...vista wont let u get in save files >.<

maybe you don't have admin rights to access those files? or they're marked "read-only"?

imo vista is problem-prone..

If you use Vista I'd recommend to install XP as well for playing older games. The Windows XP compatibility mode is a gamble as it's been with XP and Windows 95, sometimes it works but more often it doesn't.

i have no clue...when you go to try and find the files it gives u a box with some scroll down options. but i can never find my diablo2 save files still if i look for them out of ATMA i can find them if its not to load them on something.
