Act 2 Blessed aim or Defiance merc are good for summons.(Act 2 Nightmare merc with Might is good for the long run though as the more damage aura always helps)

Raise level to 30-something first, i beat the ancients at around lv 33-35 then Baal at lv. 40 just because i wanted to make sure i was prepared, i didnt want to die at all.

I completely destroyed the ancients first time in though, I was using a Necro with a Act 5 Barbarian(till i could get a Act 2 NM Might Merc.) along with a fire golem and a few skellies/mages(about 2 each) and revives(2).
That was a Necro though, but not much different seeing as Druids have minions also.

Just throw a few minions in there and the ancients will have so much to focus on you can go long range or melee and youll kill them. Watch out for the Axe Thrower though, he's annoying, be sure to focus the brunt of your atacks on him first.

Try to level a bit more. you can also try to get something with AD proc (rare bows can have it quite early) and spam the arrows while your minions are tanking the ancients.

And.. Tough. Druid summoner is not the easiest build to beat normal ancients.

thanks everyone. all your suggestions helped. i was using an act 3 merc before, thinking my minions would pwn when the ancients are slowed.

well, thanks again.

SummonFoo, assuming you are making a Summon Druid, you really need to start using Dire Wolves and eventually Grizzy. Spirit Wolves don't do a lot of damage. Don't worry, the points you placed into Spirit Wolves won't go to waste as those points help to add damage to both the Dire Wolves and Grizzly. Try also adding a Spirit (either Oak Sage or Heart of the Wolverine). HoW adds damage and attack rating and Oak adds life. Remember to max only one of them. You can only use one at a time and maxing both would be a waste of points.

Hope this helps:)

definitely. can't help you with the druid tactics, but I can confirm that this will help level you up and kick those idiot's asses. go to shenk, then to Eldritch the rectifier just above the Frigid Highlands waypoint, then go to the Tree of Inifuss (another boss) then to Bishibosh (LOL!) in the Cold plains... You get a lot of experience and IMMENSELY GREAT items! :)
