Downloading D2...

Is there anyway to download D2???? I have 2 CD Keys and 2 LOD disks and only the D2 Play disk....I lost the Install and Cinematics disk...So is there anyway i could could download it????

saracen i believe on the blizzards site you can download everythign you need but im not sure, and its not so much of a hack as long as hes got his keys, many ppl including myself use the no cd loader. its only good on single player though. anyway gl in your findings.

i hope to play B.net and i have my expansion and d2 play disk here.. i just wish there was a download for the d2 game and i could upgrade to LOD myself...and i got cd keys

what hes asking isnt a hack.....its the same things as buying a hp printer for a computer at a yard sare that has no software with it....you can go to hp's website, put in your model number, and download the software from there......idk if diablo 2 has the same setup as say hp, but its possible

you mean drivers? Try to find someone who also plays D2, and use their install disc.

Pirating software is not to be discussed on this forum. It is also a good way to get a virus (including a key logger).

You may purchase D2 from the new Blizzard store (http://www.blizzard.com/store/) or from a local electronics store...I imagine you should be able to find the D2 Battle Chest in just about any bargain bin at any big box electronic store for fairly cheap.

That's not expensive at all, if you can't pay for the game like everyone else, you don't deserve to play.

You fail to differentiate between downloading something illegally and downloading something legally.

Your posts suggested how to download the game illegally...which, again, is not to be discussed on these forums.

On the other hand, I suggested how to download the game legally from the Blizzard store.

The term 'download' does not implicitly or explicitly suggest that the thread creator wanted to pay for the downloaded game or not. He simply asked where you could download it from. You can download it from the Blizzard Store.

Since the thread creator has been provided with a legal means of downloading D2 this thread can be closed.
